KADOKAWAとドワンゴは7月5日、暴露された情報と社内の記録との照合、確認を慎重に進めているとしつつ、暴露されたとする情報を匿名の掲示板やSNSなどで拡散する行為を確認したとし、こうした行為自体が法的に罰せられる可能性を伴い、行為により関係者がさらなる被害に遭う危険があるとして、悪質な行為者には、法的措置を徹底的に講じる方針を表明した。
現在までKADOKAWAとドワンゴ、角川ドワンゴ学園による対策チームがウェブの巡回監視や外部からの情報提供に基づいて漏えい情報の拡散につながる投稿の削除を運営者に申請しているといい、複数の投稿内容の削除を確認しているという。また、スパムメール配信などの迷惑行為には警察と連携して対処し、悪質性の高い情報拡散者に証拠保全を行い刑事告訴、刑事告発を含む法的措置の準備を進めているという。

The KADOKAWA group experienced a large-scale system disruption due to a cyber attack early in the morning of June 8th. Cyber attackers used multiple methods, including ransomware, to steal vast amounts of data, including personal information, from the group, which they disclosed on a dark web site around June 27th. By July 3rd, KADOKAWA and DWANGO had acknowledged the possibility that the disclosed information had indeed been leaked from their group.

As of now, a countermeasure team from KADOKAWA, DWANGO, and Kadokawa Dwango Gakuen has been monitoring the web and requesting the removal of posts that lead to the spread of leaked information, based on information provided from external sources. They have confirmed the deletion of multiple posts. ✅ 現状の国内法でどこまで拡散が防げるのかはわかりませんけど一度拡散したものはコピーを繰り返されて無かった事にはならんだろう。特に海外のサーバーや個人のpcにあるものは。
後手に回ってしまった以上はKADOKAWAとして出来る事はかなり限定的だと思う。交渉人を立てて身代金を支払うか、完全に突っぱねて成り行き任せで行くかのどちらか。ハッカー自体を逮捕出来ればまた違った展開も期待できるけどロシアの地でやっているなら現地の捜査当局の協力は期待できなそう。

何事もネットで完結、SNSで完結というのは、個人のインフルエンサーならまだしも、上場企業の在り方としては、いかがなものかと思います
普段の平常時に、この企業は経営陣のメディアへの露出が多かったので、余計現在の沈黙に違和感を禁じえません
